The mobile phone industry will finally introduce a universal phone charger later this year. All five of the UK's mobile phone companies have agreed to the plan for one charger for all phones.
The new charger also brings a 50% reduction in energy use.
The GSM Association, the mobile phone industry body, aims for all phones globally to use the universal charger (uh huh).

That's actually a really neat idea. I never really thought of a universal charger, but would it truly work for EVERYTHING? Hmmm.

(It'll work on all mobile phones - in this country, at least).
