I ain't a pussy-person. When people look at me, they don't think cat, they think dog

Why so uptight about calling male booty, boy pussy, boogina, et cetera?

For some, it just doesn't sound right. Fellow blogger and cutey
Toddy English is one: "I only call my ass an: ass, booty (my favorite. The word literally means ‘treasure’), bum, rump, golden humps, or rectum."

Rectum? RECTUM? Speaking as a devotee of the Breion Diamond cult of salad tossing, the booty is a thrilling sexual playground. "Rectum", on the other hand, is a stomach-churning clinical term. That might excite some freaks, but not your correspondent.

For others, boy pussy is something to get their holier-than-thou knickers in a twist over. "My bottom is precisely that - my bottom," they say sniffily. "A pussy is part of the female anatomy." You can bet they don't manscape, and no one wants to go near their boogina in the first place. They're probably the same people who say porn is boring, and that people who sleep around are just disgusting!

Let's get something straight, kids. Unless your name's Mrs Slocombe or Wanda Sykes, a pussy is something a dick goes in. If you're lucky, a really big dick (colour optional). Therefore, a boy that takes dick must have a pussy. A boy pussy, in fact. (I personally don't like "boogina" or "mangina". It just sounds too much like the "V" word, and that kinda makes me sick.)

With that being said, be care careful where, when and how you toss your boy pussies (or variations thereof) about. Like bukake gone cold, it doesn't always go down well.

Who Let The Thugs Out?

DID MICHAEL LUCAS have any idea about the can of worms he was opening when he made his now infamous comments about black models in porn?

Over at Paper Clips N' Potato Chips, the debate is about how white men perceive black male sexuality. The "Black Brute", the "submissive black bottom", and the thug are three stereotypes depicted in American porn, and Clarence wonders what forces have engineered this scenario.

My main concern with Clarence's articles (the general thrust of which I agreed with) is the notion that white men are to blame for the perpetuation, and dominance, of the thug stereotype in porn. On this I completely disagree.

The portrayal of the thug character in porn is almost exclusively limited to black-on-black/blatino/latino films. There just isn't enough porn of the type that would indicate the thug being fetishized by whites to suggest that the thug fantasy is white-driven. If it was, we might expect to see a white boy thrown into the CocoDorm, for example - if Flavaworks could sell more DVDs and memberships by selling a black-on-white gangbang fantasy, they would. But their audience is primarily black, and simply not interested in those sorts of interracial depictions.

Secondly, it seems to me that the majority of white men who are sexually attracted to black men simply aren't attracted to the thug image. The popular "type" is the conventional gay muscle man: men like Diesel Washington, Brian Bodine, Jason Tiya and Eddie Diaz et cetera. Whilst Washington and Diaz could be described as dominant tops, both Bodine and Tiya frequently appear in both passive and active roles. If we look at studios like Randy Blue, racial stereotyping is largely absent; the emphasis is on hyper masculinity, a fantasy where all parties are "one of the guys".

In short, most white men don't like the thug image. It's a black thing (or in other words, Caucasians not welcome).

For further evidence of this, look at the extraordinary racial diatribes provoked by the shutdown of thug paradise Nubian101 by "evil whitey" Titan. It's a situation portrayed both by the site's owners and its fans as black against white.

Clarence says, "Now as for the point that popularity of the thug image is principally attributed to the urban culture. That alone does not explain all of it. While surely there are African-Americans that fantasize about the ideal 'thug', that would account for it being a niche, like bears, twinks, etc."

I'd argue that the thug, or urban culture, is the popular currency of the black gay community, and not a niche at all. It's something that's been adopted as "theirs" and one which excludes whites. If you don't believe me, just log on to BGCLive, where the only niches you'll find are those black men who don't represent themselves as thugs.

You might not like it, but the dominance of the thug in porn isn't down to "evil whitey". In fact, quite the opposite: I'd argue that it's a defence against white men, something that clearly signposts the separatist mentality of us and them.

Breion Diamond And A Fan

Oops, that headline should have read "John Legend And A Fan" - but who's to say which one is the fan? Who's the hostage and who's the terrorist?

Have I entered some weird parallel universe in which mainstream, top drawer R&B stars publicly fraternise with top drawer (in more ways than one) gay erotic artistes? Is this real? It can't be. What next - Tom Cruise turning up at a Matthew Rush signing? Will Smith and Tiger Tyson... no, never mind, that's a completely different train of thought.

Here at the ka-os blog, we have a very deep affection for Breion Diamond. His seduction of Shorty J atop a ladder is a classic cinematic moment... (sigh). The Diamond kid has his own blog, which is worth checking out, and you can see plenty more of him here.

CocoDorm - The Siege!

Hold the front page! In a cutting edge piece of journalist investigation, NBC has uncovered and exposed the location of the CocoDorm - and (sharp intake of breath here) it's in an ordinary suburban neighbourhood, complete with brats on bikes and a Catholic church (pretty apt, really, when you think about it - Breion Diamond et al can rush over and confess their sins after savouring a nut).

The House Next Door news item features plenty of footage of Righteous Everyday Straight People being shocked when told that their neighbours are young black gay men having rampant sex. Presumably they'd prefer a good old-fashioned serial killer, or a wife beater, or maybe Daddy and his special little girl, probably caked in make-up to look three times her 7 years and paraded in a twisted beauty pageant... But I detract - this isn't a blog about Straight People And Their Ways.

Later, we see our beloved Breion Diamond door stopped by our intrepid newshound, and the dorm surrounded by cops who stick a sign on the front door listing all infringements incurred by the dorm (oddly, Scorpio's rumoured hygiene issue isn't one of them).

Poor old Flava Works - the company behind CocoDorm - have been beset by problems of late. Blog Bejata.com eagerly unveiled the report by the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) into the "additional cases of syphilis, gonorrhoea, and HIV were identified among employees and residents of the Northside dormitory." Other bloggers, such as Keith Boykin (there's a surprise) have weighed in condemning CocoDorm. I wonder why we never hear of attacks on other black porn outfits - Tyson Cane, Pitbull, Big City et cetera. Is it because Flava is headed by someone who is white?

There's plenty of companies out there churning out bareback videos by the truckload, yet condoms are ever-present in CocoDorm (with the exception of the a few bareback DVDs, out of around forty in total). And the models certainly don't seem to be there under duress. If anything, there's more laughing and joking around than actual sex. And Breion Diamond seems to me the last person anyone could take advantage of.

Still, it'll be interesting to see where this goes. Make up your own mind - check out the NBC video and read the response from FlavaWorks.

My question is this - who sent the pictures and DVDs exposing CocoDorm to all the nice, sweet straight people in the street, and why? Seems like our intrepid reporter wasn't interested in that aspect of the story...

DORM LIFE IX

THE ENVIRONMENT IS in meltdown, and a bird flu pandemic is imminent.

Not to worry, because in possibly the most exciting event of 2007, FlavaWorks are releasing the ninth edition of Dorm Life.

Shorty J, Breion Diamond, Baby Boy and Storm are back for further thug luv shenanigans.

Last year, CocoDorm was rocked by scandal, with the Chicago Free Press (and various right-on bloggers) alleging exploitive work practices at Flava. It was suggested that the contracts models signed demanded a fixed number of sexual acts - but after being charged for living costs (food, bedding et cetera) models were actually in debt. There was controversy over barebacking (particularly the Raw Thugs trilogy) and the company's white owner, Phillip Bleicher.

Flava subsequently decreed that unprotected sex was a no-no and issued a press release claiming that, far from being a sweatshop hellhole, the Dorm is in fact a sexual paradise where our beloved Cocoboyz live scot-free - with XBox, Playstation and cable to boot!

Maybe the only way to discover the truth of the matter is to go into the Dorm... Now, where do I sign up for Dorm Life X?
