"Titus, what are you searching for in your patently empty accordion file?" Jigz asked worriedly.

His expression serious, Titus whipped out a printed document, and thrust it at the worried-looking, yet handsome, young man. "This," he said. "Did you know that Vanessa Williams, who played aerobics instructor Rhonda Blair on the first season of Melrose Place, wasn’t asked back for season two?"

Jigz studied the document carefully, aware that the words printed there bore no relation to the discussion at hand. "Sure," he said. “They couldn't write for a black character."

"Exactly," Titus said, pointing at a random, unrelated sentence.

And then they had sex.

"Hey Timarrie!" Liam exclaimed. "What are you looking at on your awkwardly placed laptop of indeterminate brand?"

"Well Liam," Timarrie shrugged. "Since you asked, I'm just reading up on chaos theory."

"Really?" Liam replied, leaning over his muscular friend to stare intently at the patently blank screen. "You mean the interdisciplinary theory stating that, within the apparent randomness of chaotic complex systems, there are underlying patterns, interconnectedness, constant feedback loops, repetition-"

"-self-similarity, fractals, and self-organisation," Timarrie cut in, grinning. Liam smiled back.

And then they had sex.
