although I wasn't a Boyzone fan , its a sad loss of life for someone so young - enjoy life folks as you never know when it may end!

This is very sad news. I remember the electric thrill I received seeing Stephen look into the camera and sing "I can't be what I'm not". His coming out was well received and, I think, normalised homosexuality for a lot of young people at the time. I wish he could have gone on to live a longer happier life as a reward for that alone. Rest in peace, Stephen.

To hear of his passing is scary to me.

There are some who don't believe in psychics, but I have always admitted to having some degree of it. It especially hits me regarding the entertainment industry, which would explain why out of nowhere while on a NYC subway, and not listening to one of their songs on my MP3 player, I had a thought of Boyzone's recent comeback. And while I think they're all gorgeous, the only face I could see clearly was that of Stephen Gately.
