| Marqus's summer takes an unexpected turn when his beloved Gramie falls ill. With his parents tied up by work and no one else available, he's shipped off to Sunny Cove, his grandmother and Aunt Celia's sleepy hometown tucked along the coast.

Sunny Cove is exactly what its name promises: endless sunshine, sparkling waters, and absolutely nothing modern after the year 2000. For Marqus, it sounds like a sentence worse than death.

But boredom quickly becomes the least of his problems.
