Come To The Stable

Following “a calling,” Oscar winners Loretta Young and Celeste Holm play nuns, who emigrate to a small New England town of Bethlehem from war torn France and attempt to establish a hospital on the grounds of a stable owned by eccentric artist Elsa Lanchester in director Henry Koster’s  Come To The Stable (1949).

Taken from a story by Clair Boothe Luce (The Women), the cast also includes Hugh Marlowe, Thomas Gomez and Dooley Wilson. A lovely and lighthearted, warm and cozy comedy for the holidays. Merry Christmas!
