The House of Hammer: Volume One

Film Skool

Welcome to The House of Hammer — an essential new series for cinephiles and genre film lovers.

This multi-format experience blends print, video and visuals, offering a deeper look into the world of Hammer and Britain's rich horror heritage. Each issue includes two Blu-rays of curated, rare, and newly created material, along with a 120-page book, presented in stunning limited-edition packaging.

Volume 1 features a brand-new feature-length documentary on AIP, one of Hammer's main rivals in '60s and '70s British horror, alongside an exploration of how the landmark 1970 X-certificate changes unleashed a wave of provocative cinema. We also take a look at the fundamental connection between Cornwall's landscape and British horror through the eyes of contemporary filmmakers, including Bait's Mark Jenkin. And so much more!
