The Comeback

TV Times

| The third and final season of Lisa Kudrow's masterpiece, The Comeback, returns today (22nd March) on HBO Max.

Following its debut in 2005, the show returned for a follow-up in 2014. But for the third instalment, it really is the end. “We need to say ‘third and final,’” Kudrow told The Hollywood Reporter. “I don’t know if I’ll want to do it again in 10 years, so let’s be done, that way no one is asking what’s next or whether we will even want to do more." She added, "The most respectful thing we can do for the audience and for the character is make it a three-part story. It’s a trilogy, and this is the end.”

Speaking to the Star Tribune in 1984, he said, "It turned out to be a lot more exploitative than I anticipated.
