Jose and David (Miguel Diosdado and Carlos Mestanza) were in love. For seven years, their romance grew and blossomed, through highs and lows - before they ultimately faltered and broke up. Now, after not seeing each other for a very long time, they decide to meet at the spot they first fell in love - the picturesque La Palma Island - to see if they can reignite the passion both so sorely miss.

A searing romantic paean to the enduring nature of love, the bonds we create and the sometimes thorny road we take in rekindling what was lost, 8 Years is a gorgeously rendered story of two men who simply want to reconnect.
