  3. I suppose it's an effective way to make a point, but I think it might rub people the wrong way and that distorts the message they are trying to send.

    Plus, what two very not related events to tie together.

  4. J.Clarence - well they're two instances of huge death tolls that gained a lot of media attention, whereas the 8 million souls killed by dirty water don't make the headlines.

    However, your point that it might rub people up the wrong way... I guess it could be read that the deaths on September 11 are irrelavant alongside those 8 million. But I don't think the campaign is trying to say that; it's simply flagging up disproportionate media attention...
