First off, I wholeheartedly agree whoever marketed this boys was off their meds. And I don't know if you seen this picture of uncle Mike and a deliciously half-naked TJ, but the same marketer must have been responsible. I'm only upset that I haven't found a better copy. A hi-res one that I could blow up and hang over my bed would be wonderful.
So, it goes without saying that marketing a wildly fruity boy band was a bad idea, Jackson family or not. However for those of use who love some wildly fruit pretty boys we had no complaints. And when I first heard ANYTHING, I immediately bought the single. I was ready to bow down and worship these boys. But, oh well, shit happens.
I still love TJ to this day, though I cringe over what he might look like now. [Those Jackson boys tend to melt.]
I don't know about you, but I can't wait for the day (and it'll be soon) when a big ol' fruity boy band can come out and be superstars.
Still, thanks for this pleasant blast to my lascivious past. I had no idea this song existed.
And BTW -- it kinda sucks. But TJ could sing Ol' McDonald and I pay to hear it -- as long as he sat on my face after.
where are they now?
ReplyDeleteNot doing a great deal it seems. Michael had TJ locked in the attic of Neverland for a few years but he's safe and well now.
ReplyDeleteyeah, where are they?
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell is this?! And I thought it was just Michael who suffered from a Messiah complex...
ReplyDeleteThe lead is cute, though. Nice smile. Too nice...
Is the Jacko singing in the last chorus???? And yeah lead singer is kinda cute...they must be the only three in the family with proper noses though??
ReplyDeletei used to have a mad crush on them..oh lordy
ReplyDeleteAnything is still one of my favourite songs though
